Organization!

So I told you all that I am dedicated to organizing my new house and keeping it clean and organized. This is actually working so far. I mean my house isn't completely unpacked, but it is getting there, and with every box we unpack there are more and more things that I get organized.

Moving is great. I should do it a lot because it really helped me de-clutter my life!
today, I'm going to share with you my favorite tips for organizing and storing your clothes!

I love Linda Koopersmith. She's great and I love that she folds things into little packages. I used this method to fold the Hubs undies too. Except that I didn't BUY drawer organizers, I made them from the billion cardboard boxes we have.

I also like to fold jeans like this chick did in this video.  But skip to 4:30 cause she is obnoxious and talks WAY too much.... Sorry Alejandra, lets get to the point!

There are lots of other methods I use. But one I can't figure out is how to fold a padded swimsuit.  I can't find anything on this, so friends.. How do you fold your swimsuits? one piece or two piece. without folding the padded cups inside one another (I hear that causes DBS - Dented Boob Syndrome--)

Let me know!

14 Week Organization Challenge

I have stumbled upon a new favorite blog!  A Bowl Full of Lemons is an organization blog.  Last September she hosted a 14 Day Home Organization 101 "class"  I am WAY late.  But I still wanted to do it.  So I will!  I hope some of you will join me, or at least keep commenting on my posts so I can stay motivated.

Here is a list of the weeks and what you have to do.

.:14 Week:.
Home Organization Challenge
(Original Idea from Bowl Full of Lemons)

Week 1: Kitchen.
Week 2: Garage/Shed
Week 3: Pantry
Week 4: Office/Craft Room
Week 5: Laundry Room.
Week 6: Master Bedroom.
Week 7: Linen Closet
Week 8: Dining Room
Week 9: Kids Closet (His/Hers Closet)
Week 10: Living Room
Week 11: Playroom (Bonus room)
Week 12: Bathroom(s)
Week 13: Master Closets (all other closets)
Week 14: Mudroom/Entryway.

I don’t have a few of these rooms so I adjusted slightly.  I changed Dining Room to a Bonus Room (one of my guest rooms) and I also changed Kids Closets into our his/hers closets.  So that meant I had to change week 13 to all other closets. I also don’t have kids to play in a playroom (maybe one day) so I changed that to bonus room too.

I'll keep you updated

My Goal for Our New Home

ORGANIZATION!!!  That is my biggest goal.  I love walking into houses where there is a place for everything and everything is in its place.  Makes life less stressful and allows for WAY MORE FUN!

I found this blog. and loved her Home Organization 101 Challenge. I decided that even though her challenge was last September.  I could start it the week we move into our house. (March 10-June 22) It's a 14 week challenge.  So... I went to her site, joined her group on facebook.  and Grabbed her button

Okay, whatever.  I hope that link works.
I'm going to need all of your help to get this done.  Motivate me.  Message me on facebook, e-mail me, or leave a comment so that I can stay motivated.  It would help even more if some of you would do it with me!!!  Then link me to your blog so I can be motivated by your success!

I hope you'll join me.  I'm working on making some printables that might make it easier.

Thanks guys!
