Life since my last post.

I know it's been a few weeks, but life has been crazy.

Last time I posted I was 38 weeks pregnant. And soo ready to be done.

The next week I was 39 weeks pregnant and I came down with the terrible stomach flu. I lost 10 lbs and had to be hospitalized for 2 days. I though for sure the dr would induce me, but he didn't and looking back, I'm glad because the stomach flu + labor would have been awful.

First solid food in over 24 hours.

Then my due date came and went. April 29th, then April 30th and then May got here and we went to the dr to schedule an induction. We scheduled it for May 2nd at 7 am.

40 weeks + 1 day baby bump picture. Had to wear a dress because I had no clothes that fit.

I had contractions all day Thursday, finally at 2:30 AM I was in so much pain I woke Keith up and made him take me to the hospital.

I'll write about my whole birth story in my next post, but the sum of it is at 10:00 the Dr told me the best option for me and baby was to have an emergency c-section. At 10:21 AM I heard my baby cry. Jack David Woolsey finally joined us.

First time I saw him.

We had to stay in the hospital for 3 days because of the c-section.

We came home Monday, May 5th and have been loving life as a little family ever since.

Mazee loves baby Jack and always tries to help when he cries.

He is 2 weeks old today and I can't believe how much he has changed.

What a fun adventure this parenting thing is.
